Thank you Rockford pro-lifers.
A tribute to Rockford’s sidewalk counselors and prayer warriors.
By Chris
At this time of year we look around us and give thanks for all the good things God has given us. I would like to take this time to say a special thanks not only to the good God, but to the many brave men, women, and children who put their lives on the line and go to the Rockford abortion mill to pray and counsel. These good people take time out of their busy lives to put themselves in harm’s way in a heroic effort to save God’s precious unborn babies.
I would ask everyone reading this article to strongly consider joining these “sidewalk saints” and help save the life of one of God’s babies. Is there one good reason why you cannot join these gentle Christians prayerfully reaching out to total strangers just to be able to save a life, and mothers’ from the horror of abortion-with nothing to gain personally! Week after week they endure the harsh elements of heat, cold, snow, rain and verbal abuse of pro-aborts. Tired, thirsty, on their feet, reaching out to strangers, desperately trying to save precious lives and souls from perdition. Never complaining, but quick to rejoice with the few who actually listen to their plea and choose life rather than death! The least appreciated outreach ministry, even by their own church, yet they press on in obedience to the call from God.
The Rockford abortion mill is one of the most hideous places you can imagine. The pro-lifers face filthy language, obscene pictures and gestures, and oftentimes physical and verbal abuse every time they go to pray and counsel. Their bravery and dedication is a magnificent thing to see. May God richly bless each and every one of these brave people who love life so abundantly.
