UW To Find Another Location

University of Wisconsin to Find Another Location for Late-Term Abortion Center
by Steven ErteltLifeNews.com Editor
Madison, WI (LifeNews.com) -- The University of Wisconsin may have abandoned plans to install a late-term abortion facility at the at the Madison Surgery Center, but that doesn't mean the college has abandoned plans for a late-term abortion center entirely.
Yesterday, pro-life groups celebrated the news that UW had apparently decided against having an abortion center at MSC, a joint venture between UW Hospital and Clinics, Meriter Hospital and the UW Medical Foundation.
But, later in the day, UW officials denied it has dropped its controversial plans for a late-term abortion facility, even though MSC may not house the ultimate location.
Barbara Lyons, Executive Director of Wisconsin Right to Life, tells LifeNews.com she is not surprised UW is continuing with its plans to create a late-term abortion center.
“Despite the flurry of statements and denials regarding abandonment of the late-term abortion plan at the Madison Surgery Center, there are no surprises here,” she said today. “It is no surprise that UW is committed to finding another location for late-term abortions. To them, it is the politically correct thing to do.”
“It is also no surprise that the Madison Surgery Center has been abandoned as the location for late-term abortions to be performed,” continued Lyons. “The fact that the Madison Surgery Center has not performed a single late-term abortion, even though the plan was adopted in February of 2009, suggests that insurmountable obstacles prevented the plan from going forward at that facility."
Matt Bowman of Alliance Defense Fund also commented ont he UW response.

"The UW Hospital statement does not deny the letter that ADF released: that they abandoned plans to do late term abortions at the Madison Surgery Center. The state attorney general’s office says they stand by that letter," he told LifeNews.com.

"UW officials are wise to abandon the Madison Surgery Center abortion plan, since the late-term abortions have always threatened women’s health, pro-life employee conscience rights, and laws against state agency funding of abortion. The UW formulated this plan in secret, and their latest statement admits that they are making the new location of the abortions secret again," he added.

"No matter where else they do the abortions, it will threaten women’s lives and the law. The people of Wisconsin will not tolerate UW entities pursuing abortion plans in secret again," Bowman said.

Email exchanges and documents from the Madison Surgery Center describe deep division and dissension within that facility over the late-term abortion plan.
Officials ask for counts on how many appointments and surgeries have been canceled and discuss ardent opposition to the plan by key medical professionals who utilize the Center.
“Thanks to the thousands of Wisconsin citizens who vehemently oppose this plan, it has been derailed at the first location,” said Lyons.

“Wisconsin Right to Life, those citizens, and the groups who kept up a constant stream of opposition are now alert and looking for the next move by UW officials. The abandonment of the Madison Surgery Center is one gigantic step forward but not the final one, and we will be there every step of the way," the pro-life advocate added.

Last year, pro-life groups including the Alliance Defense Fund, Pro-Life Wisconsin, and Wisconsin Right to Life exposed the plan for the new UW abortion center and led opposition to it.

Yesterday, ADF indicated it had received a letter from the Wisconsin Department of Justice stating that the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics has abandoned its plans.
Assistant Attorney General Kevin Potter, in a letter to an Eau Claire attorney, stated, “We have also been in contact with legal counsel for the University of Wisconsin (UW) to determine how the proposed services would be provided."
"We have been awaiting response from the UW on the final plans before replying to your letter. It is my understanding based on recent information from the UW that they have now abandoned plans to provide late-term abortion services at MSC," the letter went on to say.
But University of Wisconsin Health issued a statement late in the day saying that's not the case.
"UW Health remains strongly committed to a comprehensive women's reproduction health service that includes this important procedure," the statement said, according to AP.
The pro-life groups had been concerned that it posed a threat to the religious conscience rights of pro-life employees by potentially requiring them to participate in abortions. They also worried the new abortion center may constitute an unlawful state funding of abortion.

I know the Rockford

I know the Rockford abortionist has a Madison connection. I guess it's a good thing the Rockford mill displays such hatred and bigotry otherwise they might try and move the late term murder center here. But no one, not even murderers of babies want to be associated with the "signs of evil" located at 1400 Broadway. It says a lot about the "management" of the Rockford mill that a place that murders babies of any age probably would never consider relocating in at 1400 Broadway because of the bigotry, hatred, threats, and all around just plain stupid behavior. I doubt UW Madison (even though they are killing babies) wants a foul mouthed little guy with a rubber chicken in a devil suit as it's mascot.

Small Business Owner, You

Small Business Owner,

You just created an image in my mind that is very distrubing. He could be the mascot for all of the abortion industry

Can we get this to happen to

Can we get this to happen to our House of Horrors?

Hey Jenny the house of

Hey Jenny the house of horrors  that they want to close in Pennsylvania looks like it's in a lot better shape than the killing center in Rockford. And I'll bet they didn't even have a mascot.

Hey - don't make fun of that

Hey - don't make fun of that devil suited little guy with the perpetual sunglasses, black hat and pet rubber chickens (he has to have some friends, although it's always a one way conversation which probably doesn't bother him a bit). If he hears that he might be able to get a mascot side-job somewhere and maybe end up on Spongebob sometime because it almost fits his mentality. I like Spongebob, I don't want to see him on there. Even if he is the villain. Children are watching and they will find him very infantile and then they might want to watch Tele-Tubbies or something else to step up in intelligence. I say send him over to Barney instead. "I don't love you, you don't love me, I'm from a lunatic family"........ He can be the bad Barney. Someone call the guards agent, the security guy has Hollywierd written all over his forehead. By the way, did anyone ever notice that when he laughs it looks like his teeth are going to fall out? I wonder if that ever happened, someone should really warn him about that.

You know it's not really

You know it's not really funny at all. Rockford would have been an ideal location for the late term death center. The Rockford mill is owned by a late-term abortionist The NIWC building is large, although rundown, but has room for expansion Illinois has very lax abortion laws Alderman Elyea would welcome more abortions in the 11th ward But it would be very awkward and annoying for UW Madison to be in partership with the guy in red (I don't mean santa)with the big ego and the little rubber chickens. I have a feeling UW will look for another location.

LOL..........................

LOL........................................................

Where God says, "I AM WHO

Where God says, "I AM WHO AM." Satan says "i am who am not" and tries to hide his evil, murderous, soul destroying ways behind the ridiculous, grotesque, and distorted.

That's exactly what we have at Rockford's abortion mill so maybe the little guy in the devil suit playing with his rubber chicken is the perfect mascot for the abortion industry.

Double LOL It may not be

Double LOL

It may not be right to laugh when so many babies were killed at the Rockford mill just this week.

But if we don't laugh once in awhile we will just cry at what they are doing to children.

And these posts really put into perspective the small minded evil abortion breeds.

When these people face God the shame and horror of what the have done and who they have become will be made clear to all.

This prayer is needed in more

This prayer is needed in more ways than one at the Rockford abortion mill.

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.

Amen.

I tell you that in the same

I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.
Luke 15:7

As Christians we always have hope.

Please pray for all who run the Rockford abortion clinic. They are human bengs also.

I have always believed in an old saying, "You only love Jesus as much as you love the person you love least in this life."

God loves all those associated with the mill. Of course God hates what they do.
So let's pray they repent so they can find true happiness, bring life to those around them, save their soul, and bring rejoicing to heaven.
