Radical nun bringing scandal to the Church
American Life League puts out some very interesting and educational videos. It is our hope to draw your attention to more of their fine work. Today’s subject is disturbing because it has to do with a radical nun who is bringing scandal to herself and to the Church.

ALL REPORT: Abortion, Dissention, and Excommunication Sr. Margaret McBride, who was the head of the ethics committee for St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, personally authorized the abortion of an 11-week pre-term baby. This act incurred automatic excommunication, but the response from dissident "Catholic" media outlets was to attack the innocent instead of the guilty. |

Thank God the Bishop made it clear to her that her actions are what caused her own excommunication. Now because she knows how serious a crime it is she committed she has a chance for repentence.

This nasty nun needs to be booted, I'm sure there is a priest/bishop job over with the Anglicans just waiting for her anyway.

Wed, 06/30/2010 - 11:35am — Dawn (not verified)This is all very sad, and I am more and more saddened by the state of Holy Mother Church, whom I love very much. Rather than retaliate with nasty comments, we must control ourselves and pray for those who persecute us. This is what God is calling us to do! I have been granted the grace of seeing immediate results, nothing short of miraculous, as to how powerful our prayers can be.
I have a neighbor who has always been very friendly with me. She left for several months last year to stay with her son in Florida. She returned in January and acted very strangely towards me, for no apparent reason that I was aware of. She would not even look at me, not so much as a smile or a neighborly hello. We would walk right past each other in the driveway and she would turn her head. It was very uncomfortable. This went on for months and I became bitter and resentful. One evening after church a few weeks ago, I started talking badly about her to my husband. Later that night my conscience bothered me terribly, and I felt very bad about my behavior. I proceeded to pray the rosary, including her name in all of the Hail Mary's. The very next morning I went out to my car and she came out of her apartment walking towards me with a big smile and her arms wide open saying, "let me give you a hug." She apologized and told me that she had been under a lot of stress. A week later I saw that she put a statue of Mary in her garden. I believe that God allowed this miracle for a reason, and maybe this is where I needed to share it?
We need to be very careful about becoming bitter and resentful, and try to remember that a prayer can do so much more than a nasty comment. God bless :-)
Ed: Good advice. Thank you.
