On Friday July 9, an estimated eight children were killed inside of Rockford's abortion mill. This was a day God's grace used the abortion mill's own public address system to proclaim the Gospel of life. http://prolifecorner.com/node/365
On Wednesday July 14, an estimated fourteen children died in Rockford's abortion mill. The hands of one young woman were shaking almost uncontrollably as she drove into the mill this morning. This was contrasted with the calm and peaceful demeanor of the dozens of pro-lifers who were praying and offering help outside of Rockford's abortion mill today.
It was also good to have a Rockford Pastor praying with us this morning.
Jesus said, "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." John 13: 34
Some of our readers have asked what do the sidewalk counselors say to the mothers when they are walking across the parking-lot to go into the mill. Here are a few general themes we stick with.
* We let the mothers know we care about them.
* They are told we will gladly help with anything they need to raise their child.
* We mention the families who would love to adopt their baby.
* The sidewalk counselors share with the mothers and fathers God's love for them and their daughter or son.
* Mothers are asked if they really know the long term physical, mental and spiritual pain and suffering abortion can cause.
* When time permits we share with mom the facts of the development of her baby in her womb, including that her baby’s heart is beating.
* As mom and dad enter the building we try to close with words of encouragement and let them know we are out here to help.
Jesus said, "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners, to release the oppressed." Luke 4:18
By the grace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ one couple was open to the words of the sidewalk counselors this morning and chose life.
As the couple and baby in the womb left the abortion mill long before the abortionist arrived the young mother smiled and the father nodded his head in thank you to the sidewalk counselor who shared the message of Christian love.

It's time to finish what we have started! On June 9th 2010, Christians gathered at Rockford's abortion mill to Read the Gospels of our Lord Jesus Christ. We finished Matthew and Mark - now it's time to read Luke and John.
The Reading of the Gospels resulted in a profound outpouring of grace that morning with children saved from abortion and passers by inquiring about and hearing the word of God proclaimed in public - hearts and lives were changed for the good.
Let’s continue bringing the Good News of the love of Jesus Christ to the Rockford abortion mill and the people of Rockford.

Obama OKs First Tax-Funded Abortions Under Health Care Law
Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- The Obama administration has officially approved the first instance of taxpayer funded abortions under the new national government-run health care program. This is the kind of abortion funding the pro-life movement warned about when Congress considered the bill.
The Obama Administration will give Pennsylvania $160 million to set up a new "high-risk" insurance program under a provision of the federal health care legislation enacted in March.
It has quietly approved a plan submitted by an appointee of pro-abortion Governor Edward Rendell under which the new program will cover any abortion that is legal in Pennsylvania.
The high-risk pool program is one of the new programs created by the sweeping health care legislation, Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, President Obama signed into law on March 23. The law authorizes $5 billion in federal funds for the program, which will cover as many as 400,000 people when it is implemented nationwide.
"The Obama Administration will give Pennsylvania $160 million in federal tax funds, which we've discovered will pay for insurance plans that cover any legal abortion," said Douglas Johnson, legislative director for the National Right to Life Committee.
Johnson told LifeNews.com: "This is just the first proof of the phoniness of President Obama's assurances that federal funds would not subsidize abortion -- but it will not be the last."
"President Obama successfully opposed including language in the bill to prevent federal subsidies for abortions, and now the Administration is quietly advancing its abortion-expanding agenda through administrative decisions such as this, which they hope will escape broad public attention," Johnson said. I was at the mill this

We all know this mill is going very fast down the highway to hell but I just don't understand why they would admit that in their own window.

Mary, I make it to the mill to pray once in a while and don't even bother to read the signs anymore. Last time I looked at them I could only understand about half of them and that made it clear they are coming from a sick and disturbed mind. The other half of the signs that had pornographic or strange ramblings no sane person would know what they mean. Whoever is behind those signs is in need of a lot of help and prayers. And in the cases of most mentally sick people their ramblings don't have any meaning at all.
