Church Bulletin Inserts for 2026 |
JANUARY 4-“I do not hesitate to proclaim
before you and before the world that all human life-from the
moment of conception and throughout all subsequent stages-
is sacred, because human life is created in the image and
likeness of God…and when God gives life, it is forever.”
JANUARY 11- Someday history and the judgment of a just God
will ask of our times: “Who spoke up for life?”
Will you be able to say I did, Lord? Join pro-life
today.
JANUARY 18-“Simple morality dictates that unless and until
someone can prove the unborn human is not alive, we must
give it the benefit of the doubt and assume it is (alive).
And thus, it should be entitled to life, liberty and the
pursuit of happiness.” — Ronald Reagan
JANUARY 25- “He who passively accepts evil is as much
involved in it as he who helps to perpetuate it. He who
accepts evil without protesting against it is really
cooperating with it.” — Martin Luther King,
Jr. Abortion is evil.
FEBRUARY 1-“The right to life is the first among human
rights…Every child that is born brings hope to the world and
is a reminder that God is not tired of humanity.” – Pope
Francis
FEBRUARY 8-“Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but
against the rulers, against the authorities, against the
powers of this dark world.” – Ephesians 6:12
“Human life must be respected and protected absolutely from
the moment of conception.” – Catechism of the Catholic
Church
FEBRUARY 15- It’s easy to love life when it’s beautiful and
perfect. But the real test of our love is to love,
respect, and defend all human life from beginning to end;
young and old; born and unborn.
FEBRUARY 22- Because God created us with free will, we have
choices; the choice to do good as well as to do evil.
His judgment of us will be based upon the choices we
make. We will be held responsible for our choices, for
what we do and for what we fail to do. Choose to
protect all life.
MARCH 1-“Any woman who has felt a baby stir inside her [and]
any man who has seen the tiny heart pulsing on an ultrasound
screen, knows that abortion is about ending a life.” — Karen
Kissane
MARCH 8-We cannot build a just society if we discard the
weakest—whether the child in the womb or the elderly in
their frailty—for they are both gifts from God.
MARCH15- “The gift of life makes us responsible, and we
should be grateful for it…Every child is a gift from God, a
sign of His love for us.” – Pope Benedict XVI
MARCH 22--“Abortion and racism are both symptoms of a
fundamental human error. The error is thinking that when
someone stands in the way of our wants, we can justify
getting that person out of our lives. Abortion and racism
stem from the same poisonous root, selfishness.” — Alveda
King
MARCH 29-“Reproductive rights’ has long been a euphemism for
destroying human life in the womb… A phrase that sounds like
empowerment is really only code for the subjugation of
preborn children,” — Lila Rose, founder and president of the
pro-life group Live Action
APRIL 5-“To be actively pro-life is to contribute to the
renewal of society through the promotion of the common good.
It’s impossible to further the common good without
acknowledging and defending the right to life, upon which
all the other inalienable rights of individuals are founded
and from which they develop.” St. John Paul II
APRIL 12-“The so-called right to abortion has portrayed the
greatest of gifts, a child, as a competitor, an intrusion,
and an inconvenience.” – St. Teresa of Calcutta
APRIL 19- “Nothing we do to defend the human person, no
matter how small, is ever unfruitful or forgotten. Our
actions touch other lives and move other hearts in ways we
can never fully understand in this world. Don’t ever
underestimate the beauty and power of the witness you give
in your pro-life work.” Archbishop Charles Chaput,
Archbishop of Philadelphia, April 8, 2011
April 26-“Before we go looking for life on other planets,
can we stop killing life on this one?” …“Why would bacteria
be considered life on Mars and a heartbeat not be considered
life on Earth?” – Unknown
MAY 3-“Human life must be respected and protected absolutely
from the moment of conception. From the first moment of his
existence, a human being must be recognized as having the
rights of a person – among which is the inviolable right of
every innocent being to life.” — Catechism of the Catholic
Church 2270
MAY 10- “The bond between mother and child is the strongest
bond on earth. It should never be broken.” – Pope Francis
MAY 17-"Not even one abortion per week is acceptable. Not
one per month. Not one per year. Not one in our
lifetime...The dignity of the human person begins at the
moment of conception, not at birth. The dignity, as
recognized by the signers of the Declaration of
Independence, is bestowed by the Creator, and no one has the
right to destroy innocent unborn life." Archbishop Samuel
Aquila
MAY 24- “It is a characteristic of any decaying civilization
that the great masses of the people are unconscious of the
tragedy. Humanity in a crisis is generally insensitive
to the gravity of the times in which it lives. Men do
not want to believe their own times are wicked, partly
because it involves too much self-accusation and principally
because they have no standards outside of themselves by
which to measure their times.” Bishop Fulton J.
Sheen Abortion and euthanasia are tragedies.
MAY 31-“The first feminists were pro-life. Elizabeth C.
Stanton called abortion ‘evil’. Sarah F. Norton called
abortion a ‘crime’. Susan B. Anthony called abortion ‘child
murder’. Alice Paul called abortion the ‘ultimate
exploitation of women’.” Lila Rose
JUNE 7-“The commandment ‘Thou shalt not kill’ has absolute
value when it refers to the innocent person. And all the
more so in the case of weak and defenseless human beings,
God alone is the Lord of life from its beginning until its
end: no one can, in any circumstance, claim for himself the
right to destroy directly an innocent human being.” – St.
John Paul II
JUNE 14- If you believe fathers should be more involved in
decisions affecting the child they helped create, you’re
right. This Father’s Day, pray for all fathers that
they will be protective of their children, pre-born and
born. May God bless all fathers this day.
JUNE 21-“If one is to be deprived of life
because of potential for developing physical problems,
consistency would dictate that those who already have such
deficiencies should likewise be terminated. Continuing,
then, those who are infirm, incompetent, or inconvenient
should be eliminated by those in power. Such irreverence for
life is unthinkable!” Reverence for Life
JUNE- Compassion is the foundation of the pro-life
cause. The best way to make the world a better place
is to let every child live.
JULY 5-“To claim the right to abortion, infanticide, and
euthanasia, and to recognize that right in law, means to
attribute to human freedom a perverse and evil
significance…The right to life is the most basic and
fundamental right that is and must be protected.” – St. John
Paul II
JULY 12-There is no greater injustice in the world today
than the shedding of the innocent blood of unborn
children…We will never be able to build a culture of life if
we do not respect the dignity of the human person. We must
build our society as it once was founded, upon respect for
life and right to life.
JULY 19- “The right to life is the first among human rights.
To abort a child is to kill someone who cannot defend
himself.”… “In God’s hands, every human life has infinite
value.” – Pope Francis
JULY 26-We cannot build a just society if
we discard the weakest—whether the child in the womb or the
elderly in their frailty—for they are both gifts from God.
AUGUST 2- The heartbeat of a child is a reminder of the
miracle of life. To love and protect life is the
greatest calling we have.
AUGUST 9-“Abortion on demand has, in my judgment,
contributed significantly to an environment in our country
in which life has become very cheap.” — Robert Casey
AUGUST 16- “The right to life does not depend, and must not
be declared to be contingent, on the pleasure of anyone
else, not even a parent or sovereign.” St. Teresa of
Calcutta
AUGUST 23-“The hairsplitting difference between formed and
unformed makes no difference to us. Whoever deliberately
commits abortion is subject to the penalty for homicide.”
St. Basil the Great (329-379), Father and Doctor of the
Church
AUGUST 30-“Life is a civil right. Abortion is a civil
wrong.”― Alveda C. King
SEPTEMBER 6- “Some people argue that changing laws will not
eliminate abortions. It is certainly true that a change of
heart is more important than a change of law. What is
forgotten, however, is that the law is the great teacher.
Children grow up believing that if a practice is legal, it
must be moral." John Cardinal O’Connor
SEPTEMBER 13-"Find the courage to proclaim Christ,... and
the unchanging truths which have their foundation in Him.
These are the truths that set us free! They are the truths
which alone can guarantee respect for the inalienable
dignity and rights of each man, woman and child in our world
- including the most defenseless of all human beings, the
unborn child in the mother's womb.- Pope Benedict XVI
SEPTEMBER 20-“Abortion kills twice. It kills the body of the
baby and it kills the conscience of the mother. Abortion is
profoundly anti-women. Three quarters of its victims are
women: Half the babies and all the mothers.” — Mother Teresa
SEPTEMBER 27- Nothing is easier than self-deceit. Some
have convinced themselves that abortion is a woman’s
“right”. That is the ultimate self-deceit.
A nation that kills its unborn children cannot teach its
citizens to love one another.
OCTOBER 4- “We need to witness to the Gospel of life through
our own lives, lovingly accepting the gift of life, and
protecting and fostering it at every stage and in every
circumstance.” – St. John Paul II
OCTOBER 11-“[One Woman] was beyond the age for bearing
children. She announced to her doctor that her husband was
an alcoholic with a syphilitic infection. One of her
children had been born dead; another child was blind;
another had tuberculosis. Her family had a history of
deafness. Finally she confessed that she was living in
abject poverty. The child born from that pregnancy became
the renowned composer Ludwig van Beethoven.” Every
life is precious.
OCTOBER 18-“Bishops are called to be shepherds who defend
the sanctity of life, ensuring no one—neither the unborn nor
the aging—is left without the Church’s love and protection.”
OCTOBER 25-“Reproductive rights’ has long been a euphemism
for destroying human life in the womb… A phrase that sounds
like empowerment is a really only code for the subjugation
of preborn children,” — Lila Rose, founder and president of
the pro-life group Live Action
NOVEMBER 1-“If that baby were outside the womb and you stuck
a knife through its chest, you’d be charged with first
degree murder; you kill it in the womb, and we call it
a human right.” — Unknown
NOVEMBER 8- “Human life is sacred because from its beginning it involves the creative action of God and it remains forever in a special relationship with the Creator.” – St. John Paul II
NOVEMBER 15- The right to life is
not a woman’s issue. The Lord is the giver of life and only
He can make choices about life. It is always a reward to
have life; only the Lord gives and takes life.” — Margaret
Heckler, former Secretary of Health, Welfare, and Education
NOVEMBER 22- God’s mercy calls us to protect every
life, especially those that society overlooks—the child yet
to be born and the elderly nearing their journey’s
end—because each bears Christ’s face.
NOVEMBER 29-“It’s not good for
women to go through the procedure [abortion] and have
something living sucked out of their bodies. It belittles
women. Even though some women say, ‘Oh, I don’t mind to have
one,’ every time a woman has an abortion, it just crushes
her self-esteem smaller and smaller and smaller.” — Dolores
O’Riordan
DECEMBER 6- Abortion is poorly veiled social injustice with
consequences for all children. The silence of the
unborn is deafening; we must be their voice.
DECEMBER 13-I’m not ‘anti-choice.’ You have the choice of
abstinence, adoption, and parenthood. You just can’t kill
your baby.
DECEMBER 20- “A society will be judged on the basis of how
it treats its weakest members.” – St. John Paul II
DECEMBER 27-“Life is the most basic human right, and without
it, no other rights can be enjoyed or protected.” — Unknown
